Part of being in business is the ability for customers to pay you and you to be able to access funds. Merchant accounts have the ability to accept payment via credit card and deposit funds into a bank account or make them available to you in a variety of methods.
1. Seems like I am challenged lately by merchant account companies and am back to seeking a good deal for a fair amount with adequate customer support. At this time I have no recommendation and as soon as I find one, I will put them here. My previous recommendation of Merchant Warehouse is now on my DO NOT USE list.
2. PayPal has been in business for a number of years. Fees are reasonable and are only per transaction (no monthly fee).
3. Merchant accounts through a bank or other institution (do the research). Most include monthly fees and often can also require purchase of a credit card processing machine or software. |
